You will plan, prepare, and serve nutritious meals for residents, assist the Culinary Services Director, and uphold dining standards. The role requires teamwork, adaptability to shifts, and attention to sanitation and quality.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Food Service Sanitation Certificate required by state/local laws.
• Experience with volume meal preparation for large groups preferred.
• Some supervisory experience; ability to read/understand recipes and work in a team, with flexible shifts and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Plans, prepares, and serves attractive, nutritious meals in an organized, timely, and sanitary manner.
• Assists the Culinary Services Director in maintaining a well-organized Dining Services department.
• Prepares and serves meals for assigned shifts.
• Maintains standards for dining services including service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of dining room and kitchen.
• Cleans after preparation and service; maintains work area, pots and equipment.
• Ensures leftovers are labeled, dated, and stored properly.
