Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care is seeking a Computed Tomography Technologist to perform high‑quality CT scans and deliver exceptional patient care. You will operate imaging equipment, ensure patient safety, and interpret images while recognizing normal and abnormal findings.

The role requires proficiency with RIS, HIS, PACS, and power injector systems, adherence to safety standards, and accurate documentation of procedures. Florida licensure and ARRT CT certification are required or soon after hire.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• ARRT certification in Radiology; CT registration within one year of hire.
• State license as a Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT) in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferably, at least one year of CT experience.
• Proficient in computer use for documentation and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT procedures with minimal exposure, ensuring image quality and safety standards.
• Manage patient information, including history-taking and proper identification.
• Operate imaging and injection equipment safely and efficiently.
• Recognize and report abnormal image findings.
• Maintain equipment and supply inventories, documenting any issues.
• Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring understanding and comfort during procedures.
