Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine, and ARRT CT within one year of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before performing exams.
• Identify patients and explain procedures; prepare patients and document appropriately.
• Obtain complete medical history from EMR and requisitions; correlate results.
• Perform CT scanning with sterile technique and assist in procedures as needed.
• Administer IV contrast per protocol; record contrast type and amount.
• Maintain radiology safety and report equipment malfunctions; ensure cleanliness and stocking.
