Red Rock Behavioral Health Services is seeking a part-time Crisis Support Specialist in Shawnee, OK. You will assist nurses with group and individual activities, help monitor unit safety, and support care plans for adults with mental illness in a community setting.

The role requires a High School Diploma, the ability to work flexible hours, and a proactive approach to safety. Prior experience in mental health settings is preferred; opportunities exist to contribute to recreational activities and

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
Ability to remain tactful and patient in challenging situations.
Availability to work flexible hours.
Experience working with adults with mental illness in a community setting preferred.

Responsibilities

Assists nurses with group/individual activities and set up/cleanup.
Monitors safety, documents observations, and completes paperwork.
Coordinates activities on unit and maintains contact with consumers.
Supports care plans and assists with interventions when needed.
Participates in recreational activities ensuring safety for high‑risk individuals.
