Job summary

Red Rock Behavioral Health Services seeks a Crisis Support Specialist to join the Norman, OK team. You will support staff in the Crisis Unit, assist with groups and activities, monitor safety, and help with paperwork and daily tasks.

Requires a high school diploma, flexibility in hours, and prior experience with adults with mental illness is preferred. The role involves travel up to 10% and may include cooking/cleaning duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours.
• Experience with adults with mental illness in a community setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses with group/individual activities, including setup and cleanup.
• Monitor safety, report observations, and complete related paperwork.
• Maintain contact with consumers to coordinate unit activities.
• Participate in recreational activities while ensuring safety for staff and high‑risk consumers.
• Support care plans for consumers and assist with routine duties as required.
