Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities, Office of Mental Health, seeks a Part-Time Counselor II (20 hours/week) in Charleston, SC. Responsibilities include responding to Mobile Crisis Call Center callers, supporting emergency services, and ensuring quality documentation and collaboration within the center and community.

Must have a bachelor’s in guidance, counseling, or social sciences; a higher degree in psychology, social work, or counseling is preferred.

Qualifikationen

• A bachelor's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences and professional experience in human services or social services programs.
• A bachelor's, master's or Doctorate degree from an accredited program, university, or college in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family counseling, or other behavioral discipline deemed equivalent by SCOMH.

Aufgaben

• Provide culturally competent responses to Mobile Crisis Call Center callers.
• Improve communication and collaboration in the emergency services continuum of care.
• Maintain documentation to expected standards.
• Collaborate with Center and community partners.
• Operate in an efficient and organized manner.
• Meet Quality Assurance standards.
• Comply with OMH/CDMHC policies, CARF and applicable laws.
