The State of South Carolina is seeking a Counselor II for the Office of Mental Health in Charleston to provide crisis intervention and telephonic triage for callers at the Mobile Crisis Call Center. The role emphasizes culturally competent responses, collaboration with emergency services, and adherence to state policies.

Under supervision, you will handle follow-up calls, coordinate with 988/911, and deploy mobile crisis teams statewide when necessary.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in guidance, counseling, or the social sciences required.
• Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychology, social work, counseling or related behavioral discipline preferred.

• Improve communication and procedures within the emergency services continuum of care.
• Maintain documentation in accordance with QA and policy requirements.
