Qualifications

• Masters degree in Theater, Fine Arts, Performance, Education, HDFS, or related field.
• Experience teaching in a K-12 environment or ability to transfer knowledge to pre-service teachers.
• Prefer recent college teaching experience and working knowledge of educational software/LMS.
• Preference for experience with different modalities of instruction (synchronous/asynchronous).

Responsibilities

• Teach ED 224: Creative Drama for Teachers courses.
• Prepare and develop materials for classes using approved outcomes.
• Assign and grade student work; report attainment of course outcomes.
• Stay updated on subject development and educational technology; pursue professional growth.
• Maintain regular out-of-class contact with students in a supportive environment.
• Promote equity and inclusivity within classroom and curriculum.
• Collaborate with supervisors, colleagues, and staff as part of a team.
• Participate in department and advisory meetings.
