Job summary

Linn-Benton Community College (LBCC) is seeking applicants for a pooled position as part-time faculty. Submissions are accepted on an ongoing basis to build a ready pool for immediate review when openings arise. Applicants must reapply annually to maintain active status in the pool.

Teaching across courses requires adherence to approved outcomes and regular student assessment. Positions are paid on a per-credit basis. LBCC requires Oregon residency for employment and uses direct deposit.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop materials for classes utilizing approved outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks: assign/grade, communicate, report outcomes, maintain records.
• Stay current with subject development and educational technology.
• Establish and maintain opportunities for out-of-class student contact.
• Promote LBCC's mission and connect students to college support services.
• Work with students and staff from diverse backgrounds and ages.
• Collaborate with supervisors and staff as part of a team.
• Participate in department/advisory meetings as assigned.
