Qualifications

• Master's degree in Communication Studies or related field.
• Or a master's in another field with 27 graduate hours in the primary field to be taught.
• Provisional: Bachelor's degree plus 27 graduate hours and active pursuit of master's or doctoral degree.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop class materials using approved course outcomes.
• Complete administrative tasks: assign and grade work, communicate with students, report outcomes, maintain records.
• Keep abreast of developments in subject area and educational technology.
• Establish and maintain out-of-class contact with students.
• Promote LBCC's mission and equity in the curriculum.
• Collaborate with supervisors and staff as part of a team.
• Attend department and advisory meetings as assigned.
