Job summary

Marsh Med Ctr in Marshfield, WI is seeking a part-time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under an Occupational Therapist to improve residents’ daily living skills. You’ll participate in therapy activities and document progress while delivering compassionate, holistic care.

The role focuses on problem-solving, communication, and creativity. A licensed OTA and BLS within six months are required, with NBCOT certification preferred for some facilities.

Qualifications

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state(s) of practice.
• NBCOT certification (preferred for Sanford Health facilities).
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• BLS certification within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provides, monitors and records services to patients/residents with physical, cognitive, developmental and psychosocial impairments.
• Selects, implements, and modifies activities and interventions aligned with goals.
• Exchanges information with and provides documentation to the occupational therapist.
• Maintains knowledge of targeted OT outcomes for patients/residents.
