Job summary

Sanford Health's Marsh Med Ctr in Marshfield, WI seeks an Occupational Therapist to assess residents/patients and help them develop, maintain, and recover daily living skills. The role may include supervising assistants and coordinating with providers, case managers, and families.

Candidates must be licensed as Occupational Therapists in their practicing state. NBCOT certification is preferred when applicable, and a valid driver's license may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as Occupational Therapist.
• NBCOT certification is preferred when applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within first 60 days of employment.
• New graduates in ND, SD, IA, MN may work with a temporary license.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and provide interventions for residents and patients.
• Evaluate abilities and develop realistic therapy goals.
• Document resident's/patient's information for evaluation and establish plans.
• Provide education to enhance understanding and improve outcomes.
• Incorporate current research into daily treatment.
• Provide ongoing education and training to peers in areas of expertise.
