Qualifications

• Licensed COTA in New Jersey is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Skilled nursing or healthcare experience is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Compassionate, patient-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Occupational Therapist with individualized treatment plans.
• Guide residents through exercises and daily living activities.
• Help residents improve mobility, coordination, and self-care skills.
• Monitor and document resident progress.
• Communicate updates with the therapy team.
• Educate residents and families on therapy techniques and safety.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized therapy area
