Job summary

Advanced Health Care is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support licensed therapists in delivering rehabilitative care to residents. The role involves assessments, implementing treatment plans, and ensuring safe, effective therapy sessions.

Ideal candidates have a COTA credential, CPR certification, and 1–2 years of relevant experience in a skilled nursing or similar setting. Part-time, PRN shifts offered with weekday and weekend days available.

Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans with therapeutic exercises and activities.
• Provide hands-on guidance during therapy sessions ensuring safety and proper technique.
• Utilize adaptive equipment and environment modifications to promote independence.
• Document progress and outcomes according to facility policies.
• Coordinate with OT, nursing staff, and team members to ensure continuity of care.
• Collaborate with residents and families to set realistic goals and explain techniques.
• Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and discharge planning.
