CorrHealth seeks a Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in a correctional setting in Loveland, CO. The role covers assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of inmate health, with emphasis on safety and quality of care.

You will work a Mon + Tue 12p-10p schedule (20 hours/week) onsite, collaborate with the health care team, and participate in emergency response and patient education while adhering to HIPAA and facility policies.

Qualifikationen

• Current and unrestricted RN license in good standing.
• Correctional healthcare experience preferred.
• CPR/BLS certification required.
• TB test within one year.
• Pass background check and pre-employment drug test.

Aufgaben

• Assess inmate health problems and initiate medical records.
• Respond to day-to-day medical issues and emergencies.
• Administer prescribed treatments and medications.
• Prepare equipment and records for examinations; assist provider.
• Maintain IV therapies and IV equipment.
• Delegate tasks and, if needed, serve as Charge Nurse.
• Educate patients on diet, hygiene and preventive care.
