Good Samaritan Estes Park, a not-for-profit senior living community, is hiring a part-time cook to prepare, bake, and serve meals in a 30-bed facility. The role requires adherence to HACCP guidelines and strong teamwork in a Christian environment.

Shifts are 8-hour day shifts, with 24 weekly hours. The position offers a salary range of $16.25 to $24.75 per hour, with benefits varying by status. A high school diploma is preferred; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read, write, and follow oral and written directions; basic math.
• Six months of applicable experience preferred; on-the-job training provided; Serv Safe may be required depending on location.
• BLS may be required depending on location; valid driver's license may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, bake, cook, season and portion foods for patients/residents and staff.
• Maintain sanitation and HACCP compliance in cooking and serving areas.
• Label, store and manage food, equipment and machinery safely.
• Communicate effectively with coworkers and adapt to a dynamic kitchen environment.
