Good Samaritan Luverne is seeking a part-time cook to prepare and serve meals in a skilled nursing facility. You will follow menus, HACCP guidelines, and work the 2:00pm–8:00pm shift, totaling 27.50 hours weekly. The role emphasizes accuracy in portioning, food safety, and teamwork.

Previous long-term care or food service experience is a plus. A strong focus on sanitation and customer service is essential, with opportunities for advancement and education assistance available.

Formación

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Able to perform basic math.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare, assemble, and cook meals for patients and staff in the facility.
• Adhere to HACCP guidelines and daily menus.
• Maintain sanitation and proper labeling/storage of food and equipment.
• Assist and supervise food service staff as needed.
