Qualifications

• Must have ability to perform basic arithmetic, understand measurements and follow written and oral instructions.
• Cook experience preferred but not required. A willingness to learn is needed.
• Solid communication skills, attention to detail and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to perform job duties and to interact and communicate with residents, vendors and team members.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals for residents in accordance with regulatory guidelines and quality standards.
• Ensure the quality and proper temperature of food items and maintain safety and sanitation.
• Follow all company policies and procedures and maintain a clean, organized kitchen area.
• Provide warm, friendly service and build relationships with residents, families and team members.
