Job summary

Putnam Farm at Danvers, part of Benchmark Senior Living, is seeking a part-time cook to join our team in Danvers, MA. The role focuses on preparing nutritious meals in compliance with federal, state, and local standards under the supervision of the Food Services Director.

The position offers a stable schedule and meaningful community impact. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, culinary arts preferred, and at least 2 years of dietary experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary Arts training preferred
• 2 years of dietary experience
• Knowledge of dietary procedures, laws, regulations
• Leadership ability and supervision experience
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Primarily a standing position

Responsibilities

• Assures all dietary procedures are followed.
• Operate all kitchen equipment safely and effectively (meat slicer, food processor, mixers, ovens, grills, steamers, dishwasher, dumb waiter, warmer cabinets).
• Establish food production line to ensure meals are prepared on time.
• Represent the community with a positive attitude and pride with residents and families.
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals with high-quality presentation and flavor.
