Qualifications

• Two years of experience as a cook in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Follow SOPs and health/safety regulations.
• Ability to train and mentor student staff.

Responsibilities

• Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Comply with Long Beach Health Dept. and OSHA rules.
• Prepare and serve food meeting quality standards.
• Store food properly and maintain temperatures.
• Taste, smell, and check doneness of foods before serving.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas and equipment.
• Receive, verify, and stock supplies; inspect deliveries.
• Maintain accurate production records for food quantities.
• Adhere to Beach Shops policies and sustainability initiatives.
