Qualifications

• Previous experience as a cook or in food preparation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to established menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared accurately and served on schedule.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and kitchen safety procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and food-preparation area.
• Properly receive, store, and rotate food and kitchen supplies.
• Monitor inventory and communicate supply needs to appropriate staff.
• Follow procedures for special diets and resident dietary needs.
• Provide courteous and professional service to residents.
• Work cooperatively with other staff to ensure smooth meal service.
• Complete assigned kitchen and food-preparation duties efficiently and on time.
