Aspire Senior Living Oak Grove is seeking a dependable Dietary Cook for a part-time day schedule. You will prepare nutritious meals following recipes and therapeutic diets while ensuring safety and quality. Collaboration with Dietary Aides, Nursing staff, and leadership supports resident dining satisfaction.

Responsibilities include meal prep, portion control, and maintaining sanitation standards, with flexibility for weekends/holidays as needed to support meal schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred or required depending on facility/state requirements.
• Experience as Dietary Cook, Cook, Line Cook, or food-service professional is preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or senior living settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and snacks according to recipes and schedules.
• Follow dietary orders, texture-modified diets, and therapeutic diet requirements.
• Maintain food safety, sanitation, and temperature logs.
• Collaborate with Dietary Aides and Nursing staff to ensure resident dining satisfaction.
• Assist with menu planning and production to support resident meals.
