Job summary

Good Samaritan Society in Estes Park, CO is seeking a part-time cook to prepare, cook and portion meals for patients/residents, staff and visitors. You will follow HACCP guidelines, maintain sanitation, and ensure proper labeling and storage of food and equipment.

The role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on safety, accuracy and timely service in a hospital kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Minimum of six months of applicable experience preferred.
• On-the-job training will be provided.
• Serv Safe may be required depending upon location.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) may be required depending upon location.
• Valid Driver's License may be required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, season and portion food for patients/residents, staff and visitors.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and food safety standards.
• Label and store food, equipment and supplies.
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation in cooking areas.
