TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team at one of our travel centers. You will prepare and present quality food for guests, supporting a cheerful, high‑service atmosphere that keeps travelers moving confidently.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and guest satisfaction, with opportunities for growth. Applicants should have good verbal communication skills, food service experience preferred, and be able to work nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks and set up broiler, fryer and grill stations according to line check sheets; prepare products to requested specifications.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and storage; follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Maintain equipment per operating standards.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
