Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking a Cook to join our restaurant team at our travel centers. You will prepare and present quality food for guests, handle prep duties, and follow safety and cleanliness guidelines to ensure a great guest experience.

This role requires flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays. On-site work with meal discounts and other benefits available at our locations.

Qualifications

• Good verbal communication skills required.
• Previous food service experience preferred.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and some holidays.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present quality food for guests.
• Perform prep tasks such as washing, chopping and sorting ingredients.
• Execute grill cook tasks and follow line check sheets for presentation.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Maintain food safety, storage and waste control procedures.
