TravelCenters of America is seeking a dedicated Cook to join our restaurant team. You will be responsible for preparing and presenting quality food, maintaining safety standards, and supporting a guest-focused environment. The role requires teamwork and the ability to adapt to busy service periods.

Qualifications

• Experience in food preparation and handling is beneficial.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on great customer service.
• Perform prep cook tasks such as washing, chopping, and sorting ingredients.
• Perform grill cook tasks, such as setting up broiler, fryer and grill stations according to line check sheets; prepare products to guest specifications.
• Complete prep, freezer pull and temperature checklist sheets.
• Practice safe food handling and storage as well as waste control procedures; follow safety guidelines and report unsafe situations.
• Prioritize work according to restaurant and guest needs.
• Build strong communication with leaders and co-workers.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
