Job summary

The Cook is responsible for preparing and cooking food items in a fast-paced convenience store kitchen environment. This position ensures food is prepared quickly, safely, and consistently according to company recipes, food safety standards, and customer expectations.

The Cook maintains a clean and organized kitchen, monitors inventory, and assists customers as needed while delivering high-quality grab-and-go and made-to-order food items.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food safety standards and safe handling practices.
• Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen is a plus.
• Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold items per recipes and portion guidelines.
• Cook using grills, fryers, ovens, warmers and other equipment.
• Ensure quality, freshness, and proper temperatures of food.
• Rotate and label products (FIFO) and monitor holding times.
• Maintain clean, sanitized work areas and equipment.
• Assist with stocking, receiving, and inventory as needed.
• Provide friendly service to guests.
