Job summary

Trinity Services Group is hiring a Cook to prepare a variety of hot and cold items in a jail facility. The role requires open availability between 3:00am and 7:00pm, with some weekends and holidays. You will follow recipes, work with a team, and ensure food safety while reporting to the Food Service Director.

The position is part-time (20–25 hours/week) and located on-site. Benefits include earned wage access and a $250 Rookie's Fast Track bonus within 60 days, plus a veteran-friendly workplace.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 1 year of relevant cooking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• This is a part-time position with 20–25 hours per week.
• Experience in cafeteria or large-volume kitchen is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Refer to Daily Prep List at start of shift and complete opening/closing checklists.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Operate ovens, stoves, slicers, and mixers safely.
• Handle, label, store, and rotate products per state laws.
• Maintain stamina to stand for extended periods and work with the team.
• Report to the Food Service Director.
• Other duties as needed.
