Job summary
Corbin Consulting Engineers is seeking a part-time Contract Review Specialist to support review, development, and negotiation of contracts and service agreements. You will work with the business development, engineering, projects, and leadership teams to identify risk and provide clear markups for negotiations.
The ideal candidate has substantial contract-review experience, with a background as an attorney, paralegal, or contracts professional, and experience in A/E/C or professional services is
Qualifications
- JD or paralegal cert or related degree.
- 3+ years in commercial or professional service contracts.
- Experience in architecture, engineering, construction (A/E/C) or consulting preferred.
- Ability to translate complex contract language into practical guidance.
Responsibilities
- Review client contracts, proposals, and professional service agreements for risk.
- Identify high-risk provisions and provide recommendations.
- Prepare contract markups and redlines for negotiations with stakeholders.
- Explain contractual concerns to non-legal stakeholders with clear guidance.
- Develop and improve standard contract language, templates, and fallback provisions.
- Maintain organized records of contract reviews and communications.
