Job summary

Barnhart Crane & Rigging is seeking a Contract Reviewer to provide expertise on transactional issues including risk and compliance. You will review, draft, and negotiate contracts within company guidelines and advise on insurance requirements and compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and 3 years of experience in corporate transactions, with strong skills in IFS, Word, Excel and SharePoint. Flex hours and a 50-hour work week may be needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years' experience in corporate transactional matters.
• Proficiency in IFS, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft SharePoint.
• Ability to work 50 hours per week, or more as needed, with flexible hours to meet contract review deadlines.
• Strong initiative, ability to effectively advise and influence, and ability to escalate matters while maintaining relationships.

Responsibilities

• Timely review of all Company Contracts, Job Tickets, Purchase Orders and other Agreements
• Advisory to the Company concerning risks including damages, indemnification, insurance, and compliance issues
• Draft appropriate exceptions and ancillary documents to meet objectives
• Advise on contract compliance/audit requirements and draft changes as appropriate
• Assist in information/documentation for contract bidding purposes
• Assist in retention and reporting of Company Contracts and other documents to Sr. Management
• Assist administrative personnel in processing and maintenance of Contracts/Agreements
• Assist in contract negotiation with the customer
