Part-Time Content Production Assistant — Video Editing, Reels & Instagram Carousels

Marin Fertility Center is looking for a part‑time content production assistant to help turn short educational fertility videos and topics into polished Instagram and Facebook content.

This role is a mix of short‑form video editing, Instagram carousel creation, caption writing, and posting/scheduling. We are looking for someone who can actually produce finished content, not just suggest social media ideas.

What you would do

You would help create finished social media content from short raw video clips and educational topics.

Responsibilities include:

• Edit short raw video clips, usually around 1 minute, into polished Instagram/Facebook Reels
• Use Descript for video editing, or be willing to learn Descript
• Add captions/subtitles, clean cuts, simple formatting, and basic polish
• Create Instagram carousel posts that match our existing brand style
• Help write or polish captions in a warm, professional, patient‑friendly tone
• Schedule and/or post content to Instagram and Facebook
• Keep content organized, including raw video, edited video, captions, graphics, and post status
• Help maintain a consistent visual look and tone across posts

Good fit for someone who

• Has experience creating or editing short‑form video content
• Understands Instagram Reels and carousel posts
• Has a good eye for clean, readable design
• Can match an existing brand style rather than inventing a completely new one
• Is comfortable using tools such as Descript, Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, Meta Business Suite, or similar platforms
• Is reliable, organized, and able to work independently after receiving direction
• Can communicate clearly about what is ready, what has been posted, and what needs approval
• Is comfortable working with professional healthcare or patient‑education content

Helpful but not required

• Experience with Descript
• Experience creating Instagram carousel posts
• Experience posting or scheduling content for a business account
• Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or Meta Business Suite
• Basic copywriting or caption‑writing experience
• Interest in healthcare, wellness, fertility, women’s health, or patient education

Time commitment

This is a small part‑time role to start, approximately one half‑day per week, or about 4 hours/week.

There may be room to grow over time if the fit is strong.

Some work can be remote, but occasional in‑person coordination in Marin may be helpful.

Pay

$30/hour
