Precision Social is seeking a Post-Production Editor to own the edit bay and turn raw footage into polished, platform-ready pieces for multiple clients. This remote, deadline-driven role focuses on clean cuts, cohesive color, and on-brand storytelling across short-form and long-form content.
You will craft captions, color grade, and build motion elements while collaborating with Content Strategy Leads and Producers to meet turnaround targets.
Precision Social is a social media and content production agency. We build and execute content strategy for brands that want their story told well, and we produce the photo and video that carries it. Our teams work in pods — a Content Strategy Lead, a Social Media Manager, and a Content Producer — and we hold a high standard for craft, communication, and follow-through.
Our values guide how we work: Redwood Thinking (build what outlasts us), Let Picasso Paint (genius recognizes genius), and Burn the Forest Floor (greatness demands courage).
We're hiring a Post-Production Editor to own the edit bay. You'll take raw video footage and still photos from our production shoots and turn them into finished, platform-ready deliverables across every client we serve: short-form vertical video, long-form brand pieces, and retouched photography.
This is a deadline-driven editing role. You are not the person shooting; you are the person who makes what was shot look excellent, consistently, on time, and on brand. If you take real pride in a clean cut, a tight caption burn, and color that matches across a whole batch, you'll do well here.

First 30 days: You know our file structure, our clients, our brand standards, and our delivery specs. You're editing short-form independently.
First 90 days: You're handling the full post workload for assigned pods with minimal direction, hitting turnaround targets, and your first-pass edits require fewer revision rounds than when you started.
First 6 months: You're improving the process, not just working inside it — better presets, faster templates, cleaner handoffs.
Standard team hours are 8:45 AM – 4:30 PM Central Time, Monday through Friday, with a 45-minute paid meal break.
This is a remote position. Candidates may live anywhere in the United States (except California and New York).
Occasional overtime may be required around campaign launches and heavy delivery periods. Overtime is paid at time and one-half and must be authorized in advance.
Pay: Hourly or Salary, depending on experience and demonstrated skill. This range reflects what Precision Social reasonably expects to pay for this role at the time of posting. Paid semi-monthly.
Additional compensation: Team members may be eligible for discretionary bonuses, spot bonuses, recognition awards, and employee referral awards..
Benefits:
A reel or portfolio showing both video and photo work is required for consideration. Shortlisted candidates may complete a brief, timed editing exercise using Company-provided sample footage. The exercise is not client work and is not used commercially.
