Job summary

Lone Star College-North Harris is seeking a Part-Time Specialist III for the Content Creation Hub to welcome and assist students, staff and the public in person, by phone, and via email at the front desk.

You will handle circulation duties, basic computer help, and tutoring check-in/out, including creating IDs, processing holds, and guiding users to tutoring or reference staff. The role emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and a proactive approach to tech support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of related work experience preferred.
• Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office; strong customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist users in person, by phone, and via email at the front desk.
• Provide computer lab assistance including Microsoft Office, D2L and printing services.
• Handle circulation duties: check-in/out items, processing holds, and ID creation; guide users to tutoring or reference staff.
