Job summary

Level Workforce, LLC is seeking an Accounting Administrator to support daily accounting operations in a flexible, remote role. The candidate will handle accounts payable/receivable, GL reconciliations, and job-cost tracking in a deadline-driven environment.

The position emphasizes part-time, flexible hours ideal for an experienced construction-finance professional or CPA seeking schedule control. Prior experience with Sage 100 and QuickBooks Online is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 2–4 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in construction or project-based environments.
• Experience supporting accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Process accounts payable, including invoice review, coding, and entry for vendors and subcontractors.
• Support accounts receivable, including invoicing, payment tracking, and maintaining customer records.
• Assist with daily transaction processing to ensure accurate and timely financial data.
• Support general ledger maintenance through account reconciliations and preparation of supporting schedules.
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations, identifying and resolving discrepancies.
• Assist with journal entries and accruals as part of the monthly close process.
• Assist with job cost tracking and WIP reporting for construction projects.
• Maintain audit-ready documentation for all accounting activities.
• Support monthly close activities and internal reporting requests.
