Job summary

Lone Star College System is seeking a Part-Time Technician II for the Conference Center in Houston. You will maintain, install, configure, and repair conference center furniture and portable AV equipment, troubleshoot issues, and assist with event setups and breakdowns for internal and corporate client events.

You will follow safety guidelines, manage inventory, and support campus operations with strong customer service and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with maintaining conference center furniture and equipment preferred.
• Ability to read and follow procedural documentation.

Responsibilities

• Participates in preventive and corrective maintenance of conference center furniture and equipment.
• Configures setup/breakdown of facility in support of corporate events.
• Follows safety guidelines and procedures at all times.
• Participates in set ups and teardowns for internal events.
• Prepares monthly inventory of furniture and equipment.
• Assists maintenance staff with moving requests.
• Creates accurate event signage for daily placement.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
