Job summary

Cardinal Bay is a mission-driven not-for-profit senior living health care organization. We strive to create a welcoming, respectful community where residents, families, and staff feel valued. We have an outstanding opportunity for a Part-Time Concierge to join our team at Carriage Inn Bryan.

You will establish first impressions, assist residents and guests, and maintain a secure, orderly environment across the building and grounds. The night/weekend schedule reflects 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Prior customer service, front desk and telephone experience preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities, good judgment and attention to detail.
• Understanding of HIPAA requirements.
• Proficient PC skills including Microsoft Office, Word, and some Excel.
• Must pass routine background check.

Responsibilities

• Remain alert during shift and respond to emergencies or requests for assistance.
• Monitors public traffic, greets guests, tracks residents and visitors.
• Welcomes guests in a courteous, warm manner and maintains lobby appearance.
• Respond to residents, families, vendors with immediate assistance.
• Lock/unlock doors per community protocol and manage calls/ paging.
• Escort residents or visitors to vehicles when requested.
• Assist with maintenance orders and address equipment malfunctions.
• Monitor emergency systems and follow safety procedures.
• Set up or take down for activities as needed.
