Job summary

Oakmont of Westpark, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Concierge for part-time evening shifts (4:00pm–8:00pm) on Mon/Tue/Wed, with open availability for additional shifts, including weekends. Responsibilities include greeting residents and guests, handling calls, and providing clerical support in a senior living community in California.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, safety, and teamwork within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
• Vaccination/health safety requirements may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service.
• Answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner.
• Monitor the Emergency Alert System and respond promptly to every call.
• Effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for staff, residents, and guests, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
