Las Vegas Cremations is seeking a part-time Funeral Assistant/Attendant in Las Vegas, NV. You will support funeral directors, assist with services, and handle administrative tasks while ensuring compassionate care for families.

The role requires a high school diploma, computer typing ability, MS Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license. You must lift up to 50 lbs and assist with removals if needed; background checks are required. Flexible hours include evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to use a computer and type.
• Proficient in MS Office suite and willingness to learn other software is required.
• Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with others.
• Able to maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and pull/push 200lbs or more of removals if required.
• Able to pass a Background Check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with removals of decedents.
• Assist with preparing, dressing, and placing decedents into casket.
• Prepare for services by delivering and setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, and other personal keepsakes.
• Prepares documents related to services, cremations, and maintenance, as directed by management.
• Answer phones and operate office equipment.
• Run errands and support transportation needs.
• Serve as an usher and assist with parking and transportation.
• Drive company vehicles for services and family transport.
• Assist with visitations, memorials, and funeral services.
• Greet and assist families and visitors, providing information and support.
