Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. is seeking a caregiver to support a male client with ADLs, supervision and transportation during community outings. This independent contractor role pays $16.00 hourly and runs Thursdays and Fridays 9am-2pm.

Ideal candidates have a positive outlook, patience, and prior caregiving experience or training. Requirements include a valid driver's license and passing background screenings, with a high school diploma or equivalent and being 18+.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1 year caregiving experience or technical training.
• Pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and support individual during home activities.
• Assist with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensure safety and maintain a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement and outings.
• Promote communication, independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is a male in need of a companion to support with ADL's, supervision and transportation in community outings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule

Thursday and Friday 9am-2pm

Responsibilities And Duties You Can Expect In The Role

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
