Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida seeks a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities reach their highest level of independence.

The client is a 12-year-old boy needing support with ADLs, personal hygiene, meals, and light cleaning. Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3pm–8pm. This is an independent contractor role paying $16 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.
• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement with social events and outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is a 12-year-old boy in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's and personal hygiene tasks. Enjoys going for walks, puzzles, watching TV. He is very sweet, and busy.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16 hourly.

Schedule

Monday - Friday from 3pm - 8pm

• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

Qualifications and Skills

• Valid driver’s license
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Provide a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
