Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caregiver who is fun, compassionate, dependable and committed to helping individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities achieve independence and live their best life.

The role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee. Schedule includes Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4pm-7pm, and every other weekend with flexible hours, supporting ADLs, supervision, and transportation in community outings.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Must pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events and outings.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is young female in need of a companion to support with ADL's, supervision and transportation in community outings.

By applying for this position, you acknowledge and understand that this role is offered on an independent contractor basis, and not as an employee of the company. The role pays $16.00 hourly.

Schedule: Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 4pm-7pm, and every other weekend flexible hours.

Requirements

• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent
• Are 18 years of age or older
