Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida, LLC. seeks a caregiver to support a young male with I/DD in home and community settings. The role is offered on an independent contractor basis, not as an employee, and pays $16.00 per hour with a 10-hour per week schedule.

Ideal candidates will be compassionate, dependable and enthusiastic about helping individuals live their best life while ensuring safety, mobility, and participation in community activities.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background screenings.
• At least 1 year of caregiving experience or relevant training.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years or older.

Responsibilities

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks
• Meal preparation and light cleaning
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization
• Complete daily progress notes

The individual is a young male in need of a companion to support with ADL's, supervision and transportation in community outings.
