Job summary

Community Resource Network of Florida is seeking a caring caregiver to support an adult with I/DD in daily activities, companionship, and community outings. The role is an independent contractor position paying $16.00 per hour, with flexible 4-hour shifts on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, personal hygiene, meal prep, light cleaning, safety, and facilitating social activities.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to pass Local and Level 2 Background Screening.
• Provide proven 1 year of caregiving experience or technical training.
• Have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Are 18 years of age or older.

• Encouraging and supporting the individual during home activities.
• Assisting with personal hygiene tasks.
• Meal preparation and light cleaning.
• Ensuring individual's safety and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Facilitate community involvement by accompanying individual to social events, community outings, such as grocery shopping and appointments.
• Promote communication, choice, independence, and socialization.
• Complete daily progress notes.

The individual is 35 years old in need of a caregiver to support with ADL's, companionship and community outings.

Schedule
