Job summary

Community Action Pioneer Valley seeks a Community Resources & Advocacy Resource Advocate to provide case management and advocacy for participants aiming at financial and housing stability. The role will handle information and referrals, collaborate with partners, and support new service models.

Work is based at CAPV's Northampton office, with a focus on direct participant engagement. The position requires at least three years in social services, bilingual capacity in English and Spanish (and/or

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in social services or closely related fields.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish, Haitian Creole, and/or Russian is highly valued.
• Experience with case management, housing/tenant rights, eviction proceedings, utility protection options, and/or other advocacy for/with individuals is highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Provide case management and advocacy services focused on financial and housing stability.
• Answer information and referral phone line and web inquiries; make internal and external referrals.
• Collaborate with CAPV colleagues and community partners to connect participants to resources.
