Job summary

City of North Las Vegas is seeking a Part-Time Program Supervisor to develop and instruct a range of specialized recreation programs. The role includes performing lead program specialist duties and coordinating with the department to ensure quality program delivery.

The position requires 18+ years old, a High School Diploma or GED, and relevant experience. A Nevada driver’s license, First Aid/CPR, and a Health Card are required or must be obtained within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Two years in Recreation, PE, or related field and one year as Program Specialist, or three years in related field.
• Must have a valid Nevada driver’s license or ability to obtain and maintain valid license.
• First Aid and CPR certificate within two weeks of hire; NLS will provide training.
• Clark County Health Card (Food Handler) within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Develop and instruct for a variety of specialized programs.
• Perform lead program specialist duties as assigned.
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, overtime, stand-by and holidays.
