Qualifications

• Equivalent to a high school education or GED, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience as determined by Human Resources.
• Able to use basic computer applications and standard office software.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact with diverse individuals in person and over the telephone.

Responsibilities

• Organize and design programs, events, and activities for active and independent older adults.
• Assist in marketing of programs, events, and activities including room scheduling, creating flyers, and newsletters.
• Facilitate setup and teardown of rooms and supplies.
• Ensure the facility and equipment are kept neat, clean and orderly.
• Demonstrate courteous and cooperative behavior with officials, clients, visitors and staff.
