Job summary

City of Redondo Beach is seeking a part-time Program Coordinator to support the Police Department’s Community Services Unit. Responsibilities include administrative duties, coordination of clerical tasks, and assisting with neighborhood watch programs and event planning.

Qualified candidates will have strong leadership, communicate effectively, and possess a valid California driver’s license. Minimum high school education required; some college coursework in a related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• Effective leadership skills, creativity, good decision making and exercising appropriate judgment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age to apply and possess a valid California Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Performs administrative and office assistant duties to support the Police Department Community Services Unit and neighborhood watch programs.
• Coordinates and assists with event planning and various community programs.
• Proposes, implements, and supports youth and senior activities as assigned.
