Qualifications

• Associate degree and two years' relevant experience.
• Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficient with InDesign, Canva, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with community engagement and public relations preferred.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

• Represent the College at community events, festivals, fairs, networking functions, and outreach activities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with community organizations, businesses, schools, and nonprofits.
• Assist with planning and coordinating community engagement initiatives.
• Coordinate outreach materials and displays for events.
• Draft and distribute communication materials including news releases, newsletters, and social media posts.
• Support media relations efforts and maintain branding across channels.
• Track outreach metrics and prepare reports on engagement outcomes.
• Maintain databases and community contact lists.
