CPCD is seeking an Outreach and Communications Specialist to advance CPCD’s outreach, family recruitment, and communications across multiple platforms. The role partners with the Communications and Engagement Coordinator and Enrollment Team to engage families, build partnerships, and support CPCD events.

Requires 2–5 years in nonprofit settings, strong written/verbal communication, and knowledge of social media and content management.

Qualificações

• Associate’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Human Services or related field.
• 2 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in the nonprofit or social services fields.
• Knowledge of organizational planning, community outreach, community organizing, and communication/awareness-building principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to network and build relationships with CPCD parents, individuals, agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Demonstrated initiative within a team atmosphere.
• Demonstrated ability to innovate and adapt approaches to evolving challenges.
• A strong grasp of common digital communications, content management, and social media tools.
• Physical examination, TB test, drug test, and background check per program standards.

Responsabilidades

• Support CPCD’s annual outreach and family-recruitment plan.
• Coordinate event registrations, staffing, setup, and transportation for CPCD events.
• Create, edit, publish content for CPCD’s social media, website, newsletters, and campaigns.
• Capture photos and video at CPCD programs and events with consent and privacy compliance.
• Maintain accurate outreach records and generate periodic reports for leadership.
• Collaborate with Enrollment Team to ensure timely referrals and enrollment support.
• Respond promptly to prospective-family inquiries via multiple channels.
