Qualifications

• Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for the current academic year.
• Proficiency in correct English grammar and spelling.
• Proficiency in social media.
• Basic understanding of Microsoft Office and Google products; Adobe Creative Suite is a plus.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends, on rare occasions.
• Maintain a positive, team-driven attitude while supporting students, colleagues, and community.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
• Demonstrated ability to use technology relevant to the discipline, including AI-supported tools, with ethical use.

Responsibilities

• Create organic social media content, particularly video.
• Create basic graphics for campus digital signage and social media.
• Create media advisories and calendar listings.
• Assist with monitoring traditional and social media for relevant news about WCC and higher education.
• Assist with reporting on WCC and competitor social media results.
• Assist with management of photograph and video library systems.
• Utilize AI-enabled tools to support teaching, learning, student engagement, and institutional service.
